Its currently 1-0 to chelsea after they won their home leg, and this is the deciding match to see who gets into the final of the champions league.

Barca were clear favourites before the last game and will now have to come out guns blazing and get some goals!

As I said above, should be a really entertaining game!

I'm not interested in Champions League.
The only kind of football I like is international footbal.
Besides, I tought we were gonna scrim this evening

I love football, have my whole life. MAHOOOOSIVE Newcastle United fan, but my wife is american and I was over there for the last world cup so I can understand why people find it boring sometimes (if you dont support or want either team to win it IS a boring sport) She was the same and only supported USA but now she loves NUFC, I've taken her to a few games and she thinks a few of the players are "fit" hahaha

Similarly Im now a Washington Redskins fan (NFL) tho I must admit, I dont find any NFL players fit lol

I am a Liverpool FC fan YNWA! My second favourite club is Juventus (i know it's strange but thats the way it is). Juventus is doing really good atm, it's a joy watching their games and they finally passed Milan for the first place. On the other side Liverpool...isnt doing so great lol xD it was one of the best clubs in history of the football, their nickname is "The Champions Of Europe" <3 but yeah, they are in a bit of crysis atm. and thats not cool at all

I like the sport, but the thing I don't get is why the players make so much money. It's ... sick !
There are so many people working all their lives and they by far don't earn the amount a footballer makes in his topyears. It's getting to much attention.

Yeah it is sick when you consider the police, doctors, firemen, hell the ARMED FORCES all do so much more for our countries and its citizens...yet people who play a sport (something most of us do as a hobby cos its fun!) get paid millions of dollars/pounds a year. Each.

Saying that, I watch Newcastle every week and go to games etc so I am in fact helping to pay their wages hahaha

Yes, FOOTBALL, is an awesome sport but tbh I still can't see how people can endure 90 minutes of mainly passing... it's much more fun just to play it, even if you're never actually going to scare the impossible goal

i dont know what leagues you're watching if you're getting 90 minutes worth of passing really. usually, it's push and pull. action reaction, passing and diving, fancy foot work with Lots of hits and misses, but the most exciting part is just watching the attack build up from the start only to end up "expectedley or not" in the other team's net, that anticipation and excitement of never knowing how the goal is going to happen or when, is just awesome.

but i know you dont get that in every game, that's why i stick to the big guns in the game, mainly the big teams that sorta always never disappoint you. lol

however, i do agree with you that nothing beats actually playing FOOTBALL

My excuses! Here in Belgium we call it "Voetbal" which is pronounced exactly as one would say "Football". I only thought the Americans would be the ones calling it soccer, so I wanted to clear it up
