i'm not an FPS expert but have you tried going through this thread?

http://www.thetacteam.com/?q=node/8532

bottom line of this thread is to fix the unstable FPS and make it stable with good FPS.

What is exactly happening?

What is exactly happening? FPS drops? spikes? stutters or anything. Have you been on dodgy websites?

Also check your temperatures with HWmonitor and run a PSU test and a GPU test in OCCT and see what happens

remove the config file you

remove the config file you created whilst tweaking your fps, see if that helps... if not then it's one of the other settings you've changed

My first port of call would

My first port of call would be to assess each component's health first. "Asus AI suite" which I presume you have installed since you have a high end ASUS mainboard will have a thermal radar function for you to monitor and record temperatures of individual critical componets or areas on the mainboard itself. AI suite will also allow you to map the performace of your CPU and RAM over a timescale, which would allow you to map functionality while playing for example. Windows Performance Monitor which comes pre-installed in all windows OS' can do the same thing as far as I'm aware. From all these things, you can also monitor CPU voltage, or power going to other hardware, check for unstable/varying voltages which might indicate your PSU is dying. To monitor your GPU(s) there is a variety of software that all do the same function, I personally use MSi Afterburner, I prefer the layout and the old skool Win XP style ultra basic menus! This also usually contains MSi Kombustor which is like a benchmark/stress engine which will  most likely cause your GPU(s) to run at 100% load allowing mapping of its performance via Afterburner and ensuring its getting enough power consistently (by looking at the voltage/clock speed graphs).

Once you've made sure all the hardware is OK, then you need to look at software. Fresh install of BF4 maybe. If you've made any changes recently to game settings/config files then I'd revert them back and see what happens. I love a bit of optimisation, but generally if it ain't broke don't try to fix it!

If you have a second monitor (even a cheap old TFT monitor) run all the above monitoring programs on that, then you can actually see all the graphs in real-time rather than having to look over streams of data after playing. I find it far easier to fault find that way.

Once you've narrowed your problem down, I'm sure we'll all be ableto provide more accurate and helpful opinions

If your FPS was fine before, and now after following that thread it has got worse, then change all your settings back!

Ok, looks like it was some of the software, because after dekleting some programms and reinstalling GPU drivers BF goes 70 FPS on Ultra settings. Thanks everybody for advises.
