Personally I really like

Personally I really like Roccat, this keyboard of them would fit your needs: http://www.roccat.org/Products/Gaming-Keyboards/ROCCAT-Ryos-MK-Pro/

I'm pretty sure there are other keyboards that might be cheaper/better though.

And why is it the best? Why can it even be the best if a keyboard is something that feels different to everyone?

For my advice: Simply stating

!!This is not just for nutty, but for anyone interested or that doesnot yet know!!

For my advice: Simply stating what is 'the best' doesnt help. Decide which switch you want first. Cherry Reds, Blues, Browns, Greens, etc. There is a neat documentation here: http://www.keyboardco.com/blog/index.php/2012/12/an-introduction-to-cherry-mx-mechanical-switches/

You can read into this if you like but ill give you a quick rundown:

Red: Most common 'Gaming Switch' (generally given this name by the internet community)

Reds are switches with the lowest pushing force needed to be activated. They activate at 2mm and press down completely at 4mm. There is no 'bump' or 'stop' in the 'slider' so it has no tactile feeling when pressed. Most people prefer this one alongside the Blues for they are easy to press and usualy relay your keystroke sooner than normal silicon 'dome' keyboards.

Blues: Most common 'Typing Switch' (generally given this name by the internet community)

Blues are the most 'tactile' feeling switches as they have a major bump/stop before it 'activates' the keystroke. It is prefered for its 'Clicky' feedback sound which indicates when a button is pressed. Some dislike it because it takes a lot more force to activate and can thus prevent a keystroke if not enough pressure has been put into pressing it. (General opinion, differs per person)

Browns: Less common 'Basic Switch' (generally given this name by the internet community)

Browns are a lot like the Blues only has no seperate runner (one piece). This makes the brown have the tactile feedback, but not the loud click like the blue has. Its considered the standard switch and is less commonly used.

I use the Corsair K70 which has Red Switches and thus has no feedback. I personally started to enjoy it because it requires alot less pressure needed to activate and easily relays my reactions to the game. Downside is that if you are not focussed, you might accidently be pusshing a button without noticing. Happened to me in the beginnig but after a week or so i adapted automaticly.

I know Schwarzflug has the Blue switches version of the K70 so you'll have to ask him what he thinks.

Mouse:

I currenlty enjoy my Zowie EC1 eVo. It is the best optical mouse out there at the moment because of its optical sensor. Zowie is a lesser known brand but well known amongs pro players. Its Optical Sensor has a lift-off distance of 1mm (whereafter it no longer relays movement) where a lesser optical mouse or laser mouse has lots more. Optical mouses are used for low dpi and thats when they perform best. If you use low sensitivity, i.e. 40cm for a 360 degree turn, you should get an optical mouse around 500 dpi. If you prefer fast movement, i.e. 15cm for a 360 degree turn, you should get a laser mouse as those are used for high sensitivity playing. take a laser mouse around 2000-3000 dpi or higher as they perform better the higher the dpi is.

For mousepads: A laser mouse can do on any surface, preferably a hard surface. If you choose an optical mouse you should play on a non reflective surface because it wont work otherwise. If you do, i suggest the SteelSeries Qck+ (about 44cm wide), or else the normal Qck, as it is the best cloth mousepad out there atm. There is also a 'heavy' version. That version is thicker which would mean softer, but if you push on your mouse alot, that will only hinder your movement.

Rule of thumb:

Big arm movement whilst playing? -> Optical mouse plus a cloth mousepad

Small arm movement whilst playing? -> Laser mouse with a 'hard' mousepad

If anything is unclear or you want me to elaborate something, just ask!

Thanks for reading!

Agree with Dynamic. If you

Agree with Dynamic. If you don't fancy that get a Zowie mouse and a Ducky keyboard. You won't be disappointed.

Bought my Logitech G710+

Bought my Logitech G710+ about 5 month ago and still haven't found anything that would dissapoint or annoy me in this purchase.

And I think that you should buy the  mice that would fit your palm and type of grip, because it's very specific parameter for everyone.

Bought these on friday. I

Bought these on friday. I went to a store that had all of the suggested products in store and tested them out properly.

I had already read up on reviews and taking your tips in consideration. For Mouse, I ended up with the:
Steelseries Rival Optical Mouse - Link

For the keyboard, I choose, after reading enough good reviews, and alse trying it out with in a campaign mission for BF4 in the store:
Razer BlackWidow 2014 -
Link

I also bought this headset:
ASTRO GAMING A50 -
Link

All in all I am very satisfied, and after a weekend of gaming I am comfirmed that I made the right choices.

Maybe Smile We will see Smile

Here is some information about the switches:

Razer Green Switch

Clicky keys with optimized tactile feel
  • Ultra durable – up to 60 million key strokes
  • Optimized actuation and reset points
  • Precision manufacturing process for tighter tolerance

The Razer Mechanical switch is designed to actuate at an optimal distance of 1.9mm into the keystroke, and reset itself to fire again at less than half the distance of standard mechanical switches. This allows for blazing fast actuations without having the need to bottom down into the keystroke each time.

Interesting though, that it

Interesting though, that it doesnt actually specify the "mechanical switch" it is comparing against. The scientist in me is far from satisfied with that claim :L All sounds good though, and I'm sure you wouldn't have bought it if it didn't feel right under your fingertips! Some tasty stuff you have bought, and you did the best thing possible; tried them out first hand! Big Grin I wish there were stores over here that allowed you/stocked the stuff to try out, would save me a lot of review reading and research!

The Razer switches are

The Razer switches are terrible... I've tested them out and theyre not accurrate when u press, sometimes the mechanical point of when u click isnt the same when the keyboard sounds... So they arent really that what a mechanical keyboard should be Sad

And yes, I've bought myself an G710+ too and its so amazing, so accurate, so the one I would recommend for you, but try it out in a store first before you buy..

Mafi, actually, Razer buys

Mafi, actually, Razer buys the license to use Cherry MX switches in their keyboards. The only difference you MAY have felt is the inferior build quality of razer products (which is sacrificed in order to obtain good looks). These Razer Green Switches are different - these were developed by Razer themselves, although they do look like recoloured slightly altered MX Blues...
