So i RMAd my mobo and they say one of the pins is bend and thus voided the warranty. Issue is, it probably bend because i tried to put the cap back on underneath the lock (which seemd stupidly obvious) only to find out its supposed to be over the lock.
Cutting this story short: how do i fix this myself to prevent myself from buying a new one?
what pins are you talking about and show what is bent? all i see are chips and resistors der.
find a small needle or something that holds small objects and unbend it ;o
Bent pins are the ones out of line, different reflections and such. the odd ones out.
2 second google search came up with this! Might be a decent shout?
i cant see any bent pins, am i blind? just unbend them

Ok Got a new mobo as it turns out that the 3 'short' beeps actually means it is a PCIe Error. I had to go to the local pc store to find this out. for some other reason this guy knew but 'every single webpage containing beep codes for POST' did not....
Eitherway, got a MSI Z97 Gaming 5 now and its so cool!
