Problem with BF4
you might want to check inside of taskmanager if any program is using all of your CPU power. Also download HWmonitor and check how your temperatures are doing. If that is all fine open your pc case while you are playing BF4 and see if your motherboard is getting to hot. so touch the heatsink next to your CPU. I had this problem before where my CPU was too powerfull for my mobo and the mobo started to overheat because it couldnt deliver that amount of power properly.
Also check if reinstalling drivers does anything and do this: http://thetacteam.com/node/8532

So I've check the taskmanager and find that my CPU is using 75% with nothing else running.
Could be some kinda of viral activity? Maybe a bitcoin mining bot?
I don't know much about these things so I could (happily) be totally wrong.
I'd give your computer a good few scans with different highly regarded anti-malware programs to be on the safe side
So everything is goin normal again, I have no idea what it was, but thanks for your help .)
Glad to hear it, strange situation! :L
could be an anonymous file like a microsoft thing which updates every once in a while with no notice.
or you had files that open at start up but some of them didn't open properly or yet to open which will slow the computer down. and ofcourse antivirus softwares will take effect. but glad your computer is resolved now.
run a virusscanner and malware detector to be sure. could be a bitcoin malware software

I guess that also helped me
Would like to recommend a software: Advanced SystemCare 8, really good stuff in there, like turbo boost that closes down unnecessary background programs of your choise, and a ton more features. It has saved me a couple of times.
