To awnser your question you must first awnser mine:
1. Have you played MMORPGs before?
IF yes, do you like them?
2. Have you played cover-shooters before? (Mass Effect is a good example of a cover shooter)
If yes, do you like them?
3. Do you mind waiting for updates before you can continue down the path of a Division Agent?
If you awnsered yes on the first 4 and no on the last, then yes do it!
Im in loooooove with the coco...i mean with The Division!!! (I hope you know the song, otherwise you might find the 1st part of my sentence kinda pointless cause i obviously dont like the coco, im not in love with it and stop accusing me allready!!!)
People say what to do when I'm 30, there doesnt seem much end game. I say DUUUUUUUUUDE you know nothing, the fun part just began!
Maybe because I've become a total mmorpg 3d, gear grinding "pvp" shooter fanboiiii. I waited for this game since 2013, kinda lost the interest inbetween cause I've seen it's actaully cover to cover game which i always found kinda "stoopid". I have never been so wrong. And then I said to myself "Listen jenxyboi, you were hyping way to hard for this, give it a try even though it's kinda expensive (40€ 2 weeks ago). And now after 2 weeks of playing this amazing game I would pay twice as much. And the next update is comming pretty soon and I have so many things still to dooo.
One thing that bothers me A LOT - there is almost no PvP content, but I so wanna rek ppl. And if you want to shoot other players, you need to go to a specific zone, prepare to get chased down by 10 players, where 5 of them can probably rek you in a 2 second spray by themselves.
Not many games have brought me such a great feeling and excitement than The Division. There are only a couple of big names, the phenomenon of World of Warcraft which doesnt really have a worthful competitor in the gaming history, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and maybe BF3 or WarRock (not really a big name but oh boi those were the times).
But you should probably answer exxi's questions cause you see my thoughts on this are a one way street...and that street leads to the post apocaliptic New York. Aaaawww yeeaaaaahh!

1. Yes i played a lot of mmorpg's
When i have friends with me i have a lot of fun m8.
2. Yes i played some of cover shooters , especially tom clancy's ghost recon future soldier
3. Maybe, maybe not i dont have the right answer for it now
Second :
Yes jenx i know that song , i dont really care the pvp content if we are having fun together
And yes i played warrock for 2-3 years non-stop.

I see you have never played an MMORPG before c:
(Its part of the game mechanic to make encounters last longer and have diversity in enemies as well as having bosses able to be 1 more difficult because the fight lasts longer and 2 to have multiple 'attacks/moves' they have which makes them interesting. If you're able to get rid of an enemy within 1 sec why would they make them divers to begin with.)
I have played MMORPGs before but I just consider this thing more of a shooter than an MMORPG, I understand it's not but seriously... That is extremely unrealistic for a shooter...

Because it's not a shooter at all! Seriously, there's not a single shooter aspect in this game apart from the fact that it uses guns instead of melee weapons.

I dont understand why everyone is so suprised its not a shooter or still believes its a shooter. It IS a shooter, just not a First Person Shooter. Its an MMORPG with a Cover Shooter (3rd person) gameplay standard. Not that difficult to grasp right?
