Help with GPU

Hey guys,

I got so tired with my AMD 8350FX setup today that i ordered

some stuff :

ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO, Socket-1150

Intel Core i7-4770K (haswell)

Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 16GB KIT

But now I need an awesome GPU around 600$ tops.

I've been looking at GTX 780 but i don't know which one to get.

Any recommendations?

Cheers

The Palit Jetstream ones are

The Palit Jetstream ones are very good. Nowadays, there isn't really much difference between the 3rd party cards, pick one thats in your budget from a company you trust most! Over the years I have good experiences with Zotac, and Palit. EVGA are apparently good these days (I remember when people steered clear of them and their terrible quality, so I'm far from trusting them yet), and Gigabyte throws out some nice cooling solutions.

Things to think about:
- Length of warranty
- Vram size
- Clock speeds
- Sound of cooling systems during load

There are multiple sites that will compare cards for you once you have wittled it down to a few! Smile
Or post them here and I'll check em out if you wish.

As schwarzflug and I said, if

As schwarzflug and I said, if you do not have a 120hz monitor get the 760, in a course of 4 years you will get more bang for your buck than a 780 since you can upgrade every 2 years.

if you want 120 fps with a 120hz monitor get a 780. I have never been fond of palit so i would reccommend asus or MSI but really, its up to you. do not cling on a overclock though since you can do it yourself. see which card cools the best with the least amount of noise. generaly that is the MSI twinfrozr

HI, One of the most important

HI, One of the most important thing to consider is does the card have a custom PCB if not then it's reference and will not last nearly as long. Here is a link to a list of GTX 780s and it tells you what you need to know http://www.overclock.net/t/1408773/list-of-gtx-780s
