BTW, when recording your voice. Import the file into or use audacity directly and use the noise removal tool.
first you select a part of the track where you are NOT talking and go to the tool and click get noise profile.
let it do its magic and then select your WHOLE clip, go to the tool again and now run the tool. Now your voice quality has much improved especialy in silence or stops.
Hope this helps. If you are using Vegas or any other program, you can also record it in there and import to audacity afterwards. this is what I do, it makes my crappy G930 mic sound a little bit better.

Actually, I don't like the way they're going.... bringing a second studio in to produce mediocre games on the previous engine...
