Overclocking the ASrock z77 extreme4 3570k on air

I need help overclocking the above. My lucky shot cowboy move (copying someone else's settings) didn't work.

What i'd like is an easy, simple, safe solution that I can quickly implement. I know this doesn't exist, but see if you can come up with something anyway.

Bring it own!!!

make sure you have proper

make sure you have proper cooling. If youre rocking the stock cooling solution, dont even bother. What you need to do is find what features you need to enable/disable on your mobo. just google it. secondly you need to try how high you can get your overclock by increasing it a little bit at a time. This video explains some if it, although you have a completely different cpu/mobo. (found one of the same guy with your CPU later but still adding the other one since that helped me a lot

Long story short. If you want a quick overclock/solution dont overclock. Overclocking is time consuming and you cant really halfass it.

Agreed. Something else i got

Agreed. Something else i got out of our convo yesterday is that it might not even be your cpu thats bottlenecking. Install GPU-Z and CoreTemp to check your usage of your GPU and CPU whilst gaming. If one or both top out like 100% constantly that means that part is the bottleneck.

Im OCing my GPU tonight myself so if you want to tag along on that one (as we have the same card) Feel free.
